Welcome to a New Day of Sports Information
Welcome to Whooshka Sports Consultancy- everyone’s favourite Sports consultancy service.
The founders of Whooshka Sports Consultancy Bureau (aka "WSB") have spent basically their entire life involved with, or working in, the sports industry. During this time, they have built a wealth of knowledge - but more importantly - a wealth of amazing sports handicapping and analyst connections. These connections were forged during the time when the founders spent many years living and working in Las Vegas (and the USA generally).
At Whooshka Sports Consultancy , we utilise our unprecedented expertise and connections with the world's greatest sports analysts and handicappers, to bring our players a 'one stop shop' for all their sports information needs.
Using our connections, we endeavour to negotiate special arrangements with the world's class sports handicappers and analysts from all around the world (although we predominately aim to source them out of Las Vegas, New York, Atlantic City, Puerto Rico, Australia and the UK) to bring this information to our customers. Many of these handicappers shun the public eye. They simply do not release their personal tips to the public at all, and those that do release limited information often charge in excess of US$1000 per week to access their basic level tipping service.
At Whooshka sports, we endeavour to access and pay for these world renown sports handicappers' information, and bring them to you for a mere fraction of the standard weekly cost.
We seek negotiated deals with handicappers and, in some cases we may offer to pay them a split of revenue generated by WSB. In time, we envisage that some of our trusted handicappers may ultimately become shareholders in WSB. We are excited by this prospect. We think that by aligning the interest of our handicappers, with the success of WSB, we will ultimately generate better results for our customers in the long term.
Whooshka Sports seeks to bring these first class experts information to you at a price that is within your reach, - without WSB the same information and analysis would simply cost you many many thousands of dollars per week to access on your own.
We’ve got great deals available for our customers - packages to suit all levels - from beginners, to intermediates and through to experts.
We are always looking to improve the quality of the information we provide to our customers. To this end, we constantly monitor and measure the performance of the sports handicappers we utilise. Our preference is to monitor those handicappers with current 'hot hands' and drop off those who may have gone cold (at least until we see that the handicapper has their 'mojo' back). To this end, we ideally would expect our handicappers to be achieving a consistent average winning record of around 66%-70% or better to remain in the stable. They must also be net unit positive or profitable during the assessment period!
Our handicapper assessment process utilises WSB our own uniquely developed "Handicapper Key Performance Monitoring Rating System". The intellectual property behind this "Handicapper Key Performance Monitor Rating System"measurement tool is considered an extremely important factor and valuable asset of WSB - assisting us with the selection and replacement of our stable of handicappers on an ongoing basis.
We also regularly monitor 'up and coming' sports handicappers - by carefully monitoring the performance of the handicappers in the various handicapping competitions that are hosted around the world. We are always on the look out for the next up and coming hot handicappers to partner with.
We are always looking to improve the experience for our customers, so please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything more we can do to help.

Multiple Packages to choose
We founded Whooshka Sports Betting with one goal in mind: to give our customers a rewarding and enjoyable sports betting experience - arming them with first class sports handicapping information and guidance to give them the best chance of creating a second income to support their lifestyle.
We conduct business according to these goals, knowing that better service equals loyal customers.
We aim to cater for first time punters who bet $10-$20 per bet, to experienced semi professional punters betting $10,000 - $100,000 per game.
Most handicapping or sports tipster sites are concerned with their next sale. However, at WSB we are in this for the long haul. As such, our main focus is our loyal client base. We are on this journey together. We deliberately endeavour to keep prices are low, because we want the cost of accessing the service to not be prohibitive. Moreover, operating a successful service means that you maintain your loyal repeat customer.
So long as we keeps our loyal customer base satisfied, we do not need to charge excessive prices or engage in any hard selling .
There are only limited package options available for clients - Special Plays (10 Unit plays), Weekend, Weekly, and Monthly packages.
The "Special" package contains only or assessed strongest picks and typically have multiple and overwhelming handicapper support. In addition, Special bets must pass the strict internal WSB selection criteria, before we allocate them as a "Special Bet" for sending to our players. Special bets are for our players who can afford to wagering at least $500-$1000 per game. The risk profile of the Special Bets is different to the bets given under the normal packages. They are for more experience players - players with the nerves to ride the peaks and troughs.
Remember - we wont win everyday, but we are striving to win overall!
Money Management / Bank Roll Size
Our recommendations
At WSB we work with bankrolls of all sizes.
We pride ourselves on the advice and guidance we give our players around bankroll and money management.
Money management is critical competent of successful sports betting. It is a key factor is separating the professionals from the mugs!
We recommend a strictly followed "Units at Risk" system is the best approach. This is best described as what percentage of your total bank roll are you prepared to risk on a given play.
As a guide, WSB recommends that a good starting point is to treat 1 unit as equal to between 0.5 % -1% of your total bankroll. However, some players decide to take a riskier approach and might treat 1 unit as say 1% or 2% of their bankroll etc. That is an individual decision that each player must make on their own - taking into account their own individual risk profiles.
Bank Roll Examples
(NB- in the example below we are assuming 1 unit = 1% of Bank Roll)
Bank Roll Size = $1,000.00
1 Unit = $10 (i.e your bet size would be $10 - and that $10 would be at risk)
5 units = $50
(Special) 10 units = $100
Bank Roll Size = $2,500.00
1 Unit = $25
5 units = $125
(Special) 10 units = $250
Bank roll size = $5,000.00
1 unit = $50
5 units = $250
(Special) 10 units = $500
Bank roll size = $10,000.00
1 unit = $100
5 units = $500
(Special) 10 units = $1000
and so on....
Some of our more experienced players treat the units system as a bet to win to win the recommended units, rather than a bet to risk 5 units approach. With this approach, our players place a bet to win, say 5, units of clear profit rather than placing a bet to risk 5 units. This is a more aggressive approach and typically requires a larger bank roll. However, we strongly recommend that you adopt the more conservative unit approach at least until you become a little more advanced and have built up you bank a little more.
PLEASE NOTE CAREFULLY - when the emails are sent by us to our players they will be sent assuming the Units represent 1% of Bank Roll Players. If you are playing a different unit strategy rather than 1% of your bank roll being your standard unit, then you may need to adjust your units and/or amount bet up or down as necessary.
For players just starting out or with smaller bank sizes, or for those trying to build a bank, if we send out a bet recommending a 5 Unit Play, we highly recommend that you consider halving that suggested play and treat it as either as a 2.5 unit play or treat your units as 0.5% of your bank roll (or whatever unit percentage strategy you have adopted) as opposed to 1%. Apply a similar approach to any other unit values we send.
Again, this is just good money management, while you learn the ropes and build our your bank.
THEABOVE IS A GUIDE ONLY. YOU SHOULD ONLY RISK WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. ALWAYS GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY.
Explanation of Betting Terminology
Different bet types we typically will play
Typical betting types that we will typically play are set out below. Most online bookmakers will offer these bet types. Some off er more bet types than others and it is a case of finding the best bookmaker in your jurisdiction.
On our website, we will recommend bookmakers from time to time. These bookmakers will have a track record on prompt payouts on winnings and be well regarded as honest operators.
If you head to the section of the website regarding recommended bookmakers, and click on the links, there might even by some free or bonus bets that we can offer to you via these recommended bookmakers.
Typical bet types:
Money Line (sometimes called a win bet, straight bet or head to head bet)
Single bet
Line or handicap bet
Margin bet
Over/Under betting
Multibet or Parlay
Teaser bets
Exotic bets / Round Robins /
Money Line/ Head to Head/ Win Bet / Single Bets
A money line bets or ML bets include betting on a team to win a particular game against an opponent. For example, a money line bet would be for the Patriot to win against the Falcons in the 2017 Super Bowl. A money line bet is the same as a head to head, win bet or single bet. The terms are generally used interchangeably.
This bet would typically be described in our emails we send as follows:
NFL - 5 Unit Money Line (or ML) Patriots @$1.45
Line or Handicap Betting
What is line betting? It's when a match is handicapped by the bookmaker. If one side is considered to be say 5.5 points better than the opposing team, you can wager that this team will win by more than 5.5 points. You can also back the opponent to lose by no more than 5.5 points or win the match.
For example, if a team is listed as -5.5 points and you take that bet, then your Bet will win if your team wins by 6 points or more. If you take the -5.5 line, and your team wins the game but win by less that 6 points (say 2 points), your bet will lose.
If a team is listed as +5.5 points, then your Bet will win if your team loses by 5 points or less or wins the game.
The reason this bet is offered is to allow the bookmakers to offer better odds to players, than maybe available on a ML bet on a favourite. Most line bet options are at odds around $1.90 for each team.
This bet would typically be described in our emails we send as follows:
NFL - 5 Unit Patriots -5.5 @$1.90
With line betting, different bookmakers have different rules for games that go into overtime, and also for games where there are “pushes” after the line handicap is applied (i.e where there is a draw after the handicap is applied). This can only happen when whole number lines are selected e.g where the line is -5 as opposed to -5.5. Some line markets will refund bets where the result if a draw after the handicap is applied. Some markets will treat a draw as a loss. You need to familiarise yourself of what the betting rules are which each particular bookmaker you may choose to use. You should check this every time you place a bet.
Similarly, sometimes the bet is described as a handicap bet. In these cases, the handicap is applied to the final result of the match and the team with the most goals after the handicap has been applied will be the winner.
As described above, in some markers a Handicap draw is also a betting option in the alternative handicap markets. In these cases, if the game is a draw after the handicap is applied, then this is the winning selection. This example shows how each Bet is considered a winner.
Manchester United (-1.0) Man U need to win by 2 goals or more
Handicap Draw (-1.0) Man U wins by exactly 1 goal
Arsenal (+1.0) The game ends in a draw or Arsenal win the match.
Alternative Line or Pick your own Line
In addition to a line bet of say -5.5@ the odds of around the $1.90 mark, some bookmakers, will also off Alternative Lines, or in some cases pick your own line options. In these cases, the bookmaker may offer an alternative bet of say Patriots -1.5. Give that would generally be easier for a favourite team to cover, you would expect the odds for that particular bet to be much shorter – eg the odds of that line instead on being $1.90 might only be say $1.40 (because the chances of that team winning by more than 2 is more probably than the team having to win by at least 6.
This bet would typically be described in our emails we send as follows:
NFL - 5 Unit Patriots -1.5 @$1.45
Margin Betting
Margin Betting is where you pick the winning margin on an event between two teams. The winning margins are set by the bookmakers and vary from sport to sport. An example of the difference is the margin betting markets can be seen below.
Australian Rules Football: 1-39, 40+ and Draw
Rugby League and Rugby Union: 1-12, 13+ and Draw
Basketball: 1-10, 11+
Again, with margin betting it is important to understand the betting rules for the bookmaker you are using. In some cases, when a Draw option is offered for Margin betting, it will exclude any extra time that might be played. The Draw rules vary from bookmaker to bookmaker and from market to market. You should familiarise yourself with all betting rules prior to place your bet.
This bet would typically be described in our emails we send as follows:
NBA - 5 Unit Lakers, Margin 1-10, @$1.75
MultiBets/ All-Up /Parlays/Teasers
A MultiBet, All Up, Parlays or Teasers (all inerchangable words) typically combines a selection of single bets together, in effect multiplying your bet. MultiBets are also known as a Multiple Bet, All Up, Parlay or Teaser bet. The terminology varies from bookmaker to bookmaker and jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
The number of legs that can be multiplied varies from bookmaker to bookmaker. Typically, MultiBets can be placed from 2 to 10-15 legs.
The benefit of this type of bet is that you can increase your odds by multi betting your wagers.
This bet would typically be described in our emails we send as follows:
NFL - 5 Unit Multi Bet - Patriots -5.5 @$1.90 / Giants +7.5 @1.85 / Seahawks +3.5 @1.90
Exotics/Round Robins
We tend to play these types of exotic bets less frequently, but they might include (as an example):
First Scoring Play
First Player to Kick a Goal
First Team to Score
Player to Kick Most Goals for the Match
Player to Kick Most Goals of the Round
Pick 4 - pick the winner of 4 selected matches
Head to Head - Player Goals, Most Disposal
Most Sixes
Winner of the Toss
Team High Bat - Match and Series
Highest Opening Partnership
Individual Match Ups
Man of the Match
The list goes on and on and on……..
The above list is just an example.
For the particular betting rules for each of these types of exotic bets, refer to the betting rules of your bookmaker.
If we do provide these types of plays, we will provide enough detail in the email for you to place the bet. If you still can’t understand the instructions, speak to your bookmaker, we will always provide the information in a format that any bookmaker can understand.
